Project Information
The ‘Be Your Own Boss’ project is developing an innovative European-wide training framework for people who wish to start their own business.
The project is sponsored by the European Commissions ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ fund and started on 1st October 2006 and shall run for 2 years, with completion on 30th September 2008.
The project partners are from: United Kingdom, Bulgaria, South Denmark, Greece, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Poland.
All EU partner countries shall be testing the training framework with various people from all backgrounds. The framework would form the basis of a training course, completion of which would lead to accreditation and the course shall be translated into all partners’ languages.
The training course shall be broken down into modules such as:
• E-Commerce
• Business Planning
• Marketing & Competition
• Financial forecasts.
We have an independent external evaluator to ensure that the best practice is identified in all participating countries.
